SPEC 6099 - Add Detail Line Mass Update to Navigator FM

Description - Creates the new File Management File - Standard Order Detail that displays the order detail lines contained on Standard Orders.

Granting Access

Access to this functionality has to be granted through the Navigator menu.

Currently, the only option is to grant or deny the ability mass update item information.

NAV 1 and NAV 5

  • Access one of the NAV options (NAV 1 or 5).
  • Enter an A in the Opt filed for File Management.
  • Scroll down until you get to Standard Order Detail.
  • Enter the preferred level of access.

NAV 2

  • Access NAV 2 - Authority Class options.
  • Enter an W in the Opt field.

  • Enter a W in the Opt field for File Management.

  • Page down until you see the Standard Order Detail, and use option G to Grant access.

Navigator Standard Order Detail File

This new file displays the order details lines for your standard orders.

A Mass Update feature is available under the Records heading.

Use the Filters to narrow the order lines down to your specifications.

This functionality allows you to quickly and easily mass update item information (manufacturer, color, and/or pattern).
